Lottery Valley's numerology section is organized around Life Path 1 through 9. Add the digits in your full birth date, then keep reducing the total until one digit remains. For July 14, 1992, the calculation is 0 + 7 + 1 + 4 + 1 + 9 + 9 + 2 = 33, followed by 3 + 3 = 6. The matching page is Life Path 6.
Calculate your Life Path number
Write the complete date with a four-digit year. Adding each digit separately gives a calculation that is easy to check.
1. Write the date in numbers
July 14, 1992 becomes 07/14/1992.
2. Add the digits
0 + 7 + 1 + 4 + 1 + 9 + 9 + 2 = 33.
3. Reduce the total

Life Path 11, 22, and 33
Some numerology systems keep 11, 22, and 33 as master numbers. Lottery Valley currently organizes its lucky-number pages around the reduced numbers 1 through 9.
If you prefer the master-number convention, you can write the result as 11/2, 22/4, or 33/6. The number after the slash identifies the available Lottery Valley page. A result of 33/6, for example, leads to Life Path 6.
Different numerology calculators may reduce the month, day, and year separately before combining them. That can produce a different master-number label. Check the method before assuming one calculator made an arithmetic error.

Life Path and birthday numbers are calculated differently
A Life Path number uses the entire birth date. A birthday number usually starts with the day of the month.
Someone born on July 14, 1992 has a birthday number connected with 14, often reduced to 5, while the full-date calculation above gives Life Path 6. Both come from the same date, but they are not interchangeable.

Do I include zeros when calculating my Life Path?
You can write them to keep the date clear, but zeros do not change the sum. The zero in 07 contributes nothing to the total.
What happens if the total is 10 or more?
Add the digits again. A total of 28 becomes 2 + 8 = 10, then 1 + 0 = 1.
Should I reduce 11, 22, or 33?
Lottery Valley's directory uses Life Path 1 through 9, so those results lead to 2, 4, and 6. Readers who follow master numbers can keep the labels 11/2, 22/4, and 33/6.
Why does another calculator show a different Life Path?
Some calculators reduce the entire date at once, while others reduce the month, day, and year separately. Master numbers may also be preserved at different stages.
