A new set is published each day
Lottery Valley schedules new lucky-number sets daily, with the latest batch normally ready by 7:00 AM ET. A delayed update is labeled rather than passed off as current.
The date matters because these are daily selections, not permanent numbers attached to a sign or Life Path. If you prefer to keep the same numbers for several drawings, you can; returning for every update is optional.
The set shown for today is not an official drawing result. It is a selection to use before a drawing. Winning numbers belong on the results pages and should be confirmed with the lottery that conducted the draw.
Use the set made for your game
A Powerball line cannot simply be copied into Mega Millions, and neither game uses the same format as Pick 3 or Pick 4.
Powerball currently uses five different white-ball numbers from 1 to 69 and one red Powerball from 1 to 26. Mega Millions uses five different white-ball numbers from 1 to 70 and one gold Mega Ball from 1 to 24. Pick 3 and Pick 4 rules are set by individual lotteries and may depend on number order, play type, and draw time.

Lucky numbers do not change the draw odds
Every valid combination in the same game has the same chance of being drawn. A meaningful date, a frequently drawn number, or a number that has been absent for months does not receive special treatment in the next drawing.
Buying more distinct lines covers more combinations, which raises the chance that at least one of your lines matches. It also costs more. The probability of each individual line remains unchanged.
Playing the same line twice is different: it does not cover another possible result. It would give you two winning tickets if that one combination won, subject to the game's prize and sharing rules.
