Playing Maryland Multi-Match is straightforward. You'll pick 6 numbers from 1 to 43. Can't decide? Go with Quick Pick and let the terminal choose random numbers for you. Drawings happen Monday and Thursday at 7:56 PM ET, and you win by matching numbers to the drawn results. The more you match, the bigger your prize. Match all 6, and you've hit the jackpot.

Visit any authorized Maryland Lottery retailer, most convenience stores, gas stations, and grocery stores sell tickets. Tell the clerk you want Multi-Match, or use a self-service terminal if available. You can pick your own numbers or ask for Quick Pick. Tickets cost $1.00 per play, plus $1.00 if you add Multi-Match Multiplier to multiply non-jackpot prizes by up to 10x. Make sure to buy before the sales cutoff, which is 7:52 PM ET on drawing days. Always check your ticket before leaving the store.

Maryland offers an official lottery app and website, but not all games may be available for online purchase. Check the official Maryland Lottery app or Maryland Lottery website to see if Multi-Match is currently available for online purchase. If available online, you'll need to create an account, verify you're physically located in Maryland, and follow the app's purchase process. Tickets purchased through the official app are the same as those bought at retail locations.

A standard Maryland Multi-Match ticket costs $1.00 per play. Add Multi-Match Multiplier for an extra $1.00, bringing your total to $2.00 per play. Multi-Match drawings happen Monday and Thursday at 7:56 PM ET. That gives you 2 chances to win each week. Ticket sales close at 7:52 PM ET on drawing nights. If you buy a multi-draw ticket, it'll play the same numbers for consecutive drawings. You can purchase tickets for up to multiple future drawings at once. This is great if you've got lucky numbers you play consistently.

Multi-Match Multiplier is an optional add-on that costs an extra $1.00 per play. It multiplies your non-jackpot winnings by 2x to 10x. The multiplier number is drawn separately right after the main drawing. Here's the catch: it doesn't multiply the jackpot. But for lower prize tiers, Multi-Match Multiplier can significantly boost your winnings, potentially multiplying them by up to 10x. That's a significant boost. You decide whether to add Multi-Match Multiplier when buying your ticket. Can't add it later.

Multi-Match is exclusive to Maryland. You'll need to be physically present in Maryland to buy tickets, either at a retail location or through a licensed courier service while you're in-state.

This is a state-specific game with its own unique rules and prize structure. Other states have similar games but different names and formats. Browse all Maryland lottery games to see what's available.
